"Astana Opera comes to Karaganda on tour almost every year, which is due to the close creative ties between the two cities. We are always very happy to perform here. After all, Karaganda is not only a major industrial and scientific center, but also a cultural center of the country. This visit is significant because we are closing the 41st concert season of the Karaganda Symphony Orchestra named after E. Rakhmadiev, and wonderful soloists will join us on stage - baritone Ayan Tolegen and tenor Merey Kadyrkhan," - said Yerzhan Dautov.

It should be reminded that Astana Opera is touring this city for the seventh time. Previously, the ensemble presented operas in concert version on various stages, as well as a Gala concert, the cantata "Carmina Burana" by K. Orff. It was in Karaganda that students of the Astana Opera International Opera Academy began their first tour. It is not surprising that Astana Opera's performances are always sold out, and this visit is no exception. This is because the ensemble invariably amazes audiences with its professionalism, passion for art and magnificent performance of masterpieces of world musical classics.

The Astana Opera Choir is the winner of many prestigious international awards, including a gold medal won at the XI Chinese International Choir Festival, as well as a brilliant first place at the "Hainuvka" International Competition (Poland) last year. Then the artists not only performed remarkably at the competition, taking a winning place, but also gave a large solo concert of music by Kazakh composers as part of the tour.
