
A creative evening dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the stage career of People's Artist of Kazakhstan Roza Rymbayeva took place on the stage of the Roza Baglanova Kazakhconcert State Academic Concert Organization.
That evening, widely known works from the singer's repertoire, which have become part of the history of Kazakh pop music, were performed. The concert opened with the composition "Babalar Amanaty", specially written for the anniversary evening by Ali Okapov. The soulful piece was performed by Roza Rymbayeva herself.
In honor of the anniversary evening, Roza Rymbayeva received a congratulatory address on behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva. It noted that half a century on stage has become a whole era for the artist, filled with great labor, deep creative search, high taste, genuine talent, and devotion to art.
Artists from different generations of the Kazakhstani stage participated in the concert, including ALEM, Kazybek Kurayish, Kairat Baekenov, Batyrzhan Tazabekov, Marzhan Arapbayeva, Gulsym Myrzabekova, Bayan-Sulu, and Iligay. The singer's sons, Ali Okapov and Madi Rymbayev, also appeared on stage, and one of the most touching moments was the performance of "Zharasqan Zhanuya" together with family members and grandson Zein.
The musical accompaniment for the evening was provided by musicians under the direction of Ilya Bashkatov, the Presidential Orchestra of the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and conductor Darkhan Rakhymgali. The finale featured the compositions "Lyubov Nastala", "Aliya", and "Ertenime Senemin", after which Roza Rymbayeva was presented with "Flowers of Gratitude".
