The preliminary launch of the "One Belt, One Road" Cloud Museum took place in Beijing, China, as part of the 4th Global Museum Directors Forum. The project was initiated by the National Museum of China.
Museum directors from Kazakhstan, China, Portugal, and other countries participated in the launch of the international digital platform.
The cloud museum is being created using modern digital technologies. The platform will unite museum collections from various countries and make them accessible to a wide audience. Through the project, users will be able to explore unique exhibits, historical materials, and the cultural heritage of peoples around the world, regardless of their location.
The project is scheduled to be implemented in stages from 2026 to 2030. The official launch is planned for the end of this year.
The "One Belt, One Road" Cloud Museum opens up new opportunities for cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and China.
It is worth noting that the Unified National Portal E-museum, which brings together tens of thousands of exhibits from across the country, is currently actively developing in Kazakhstan.
