In Almaty, the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments presented the concert "Seven Schools – One Heritage," dedicated to the traditional art of kuy and the diversity of its performance schools.

Performing alongside the national orchestra were Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayan Akmolda, sybyzgist and Cultural Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Talgat Mukushev, and traditional singer Birzhan Bazylzhan. The conductors were Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zheksen Aysin and laureate of international and republican competitions Naryn Kazhgali.

The program featured works representing various performance traditions of the Kazakh kuy. Through the sound of national instruments, the audience was presented with the richness of the musical heritage, its artistic uniqueness, and the continuity of generations.

Before the concert began, the audience was also shown the traditional art of "Orteke," which combines dombra playing with the movements of a wooden mountain goat figurine. In addition, elements of the traditional sal-seri culture and educational materials about Kazakh musical art were presented.
