In Astana, the second stage of the Roza Baglanova International Vocal Competition has concluded.

The second stage of the Roza Baglanova International Vocal Competition, aimed at supporting young performers and popularizing Kazakh vocal art, has concluded in Astana. The project is being held for the second time and brings together participants from Kazakhstan and a number of foreign countries, providing them with the opportunity to demonstrate professional skill and stage culture.

This year, the competition received 137 applications from regions of Kazakhstan, as well as from Turkey, Belarus, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. Following the results of the first online stage, 20 participants were selected for the second round.

In the second stage, contestants performed works from Roza Baglanova's repertoire, demonstrating a high level of vocal training and stage performance. Special attention in the competition is paid to preserving and popularizing national musical heritage among the younger generation.

The results of the competition will be announced on May 14 during the Gala Concert, where the winners will be officially declared and certificates and cash prizes will be awarded.

The jury included People's Artist of Kazakhstan, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor Laki Kesoglu, Honored Figures of Kazakhstan Bolatbek Bukenov, Jenis Iskakov, Sembek Zhumagaliev, as well as People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Ryskeldi Osmonkulov.

Roza Baglanova's son Tazhen Baglanov and daughter-in-law Maral Baglanova also participated in the competition events. Roza Baglanova's family prepared a special prize for one of the participants.
