
A musical evening dedicated to the 70th birthday of the renowned composer and conductor, Cavalier of the "Qurmet" and "Parasat" Orders, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Ali Alpysbaev, was held at the Roza Baglanova Kazakhconcert State Academic Concert Organization.
During the event, the composer was presented with a congratulatory letter from the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aida Balaeva.
"Your high professional skill and creative pursuits have contributed to broadening the horizons of national musical art and had a significant impact on promoting Kazakh culture at an international level.
Your many years of dedicated work in service of art, as well as your contribution to the spiritual development of the country, are always highly appreciated," the letter stated.

Ali Alpysbaev is the author of more than 50 songs and a number of works for various musical instruments. His creativity is distinguished by a combination of national traditions and modern musical sound. He is also the organizer of the International Conductors' Competition "Altyn Tayaqsha" and the vocalists' competition "Kesteli Oramal" named after Mukan Tulebaev.

The composer is a recipient of a state grant and a multiple laureate of the Republican competition "Elim Menin". In 2015, he participated in the VI Republican competition of new art works "Tauelsizdik Tolgauy", where his symphonic kyui poem "Orbulak Tany" was awarded the Grand Prix.
Ali Alpysbaev's creative activity has also gained international recognition. He has toured in Russia, China, and Turkey, and participated in the VIII World Art Festival in Poland, presenting Kazakh musical art to foreign audiences.
