Students of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography performed a gala concert in Romania dedicated to the Nauryz holiday. The concert, "When the Steppe Awakens: Nauryz in Dance," took place at the Ion Dacian National Operetta and Musical Theater in Bucharest.
The event brought together representatives of the Kazakh diaspora and Romanian audiences, introducing them to Kazakhstani culture.
The program featured classical, national, and contemporary choreographic pieces. Spectators saw excerpts from Pyotr Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker," Hermann Löwenskhold's "La Sylphide," as well as the productions "Aqbayan" and "Zholbarys Zhurek" choreographed by Anvara Sadykova and Almat Shamshiev.
International competition-winning soprano Laura Ali also performed. This event became an important contribution to the promotion of Kazakhstani art and the strengthening of cultural ties.
