Qazaq Creative and WE Media Group are joining forces to promote Kazakhstani creatives.

The Creative Industries Development Fund and WE Media Group have signed a memorandum of understanding on information cooperation aimed at developing creative entrepreneurship and promoting Kazakhstani creative projects. The partnership includes the creation of joint media content, highlighting the achievements of regional producers, and promoting domestic creative brands.
The document was signed by Erlan Kanalimov, Chairman of the Board of the Creative Industries Development Fund. One of the key objectives of the collaboration will be to create an information platform where creative professionals can discuss their projects, share their entrepreneurial experiences, and present their products to potential buyers and business partners.
WEproject, part of WE Media Group, has been covering the development of entrepreneurship, culture, art, and innovation in Central Asia for over ten years. The publication specializes in stories of entrepreneurs, company founders, and creators of promising projects, focusing on their professional paths, business models, and practical experience. WEproject's audience reach is 11.7 million, while WE Media Group's combined reach reaches 40 million. The media group's capabilities will allow it to introduce Kazakhstani manufacturers, their developments, and competitive products to a wider audience, including on international media platforms.
As part of the memorandum, the parties plan to publish thematic publications, interviews, special reports, and joint media projects on the development of Kazakhstan's creative economy. The focus will be on entrepreneurs from various regions of the country working in the fields of design, fashion, music, film, animation, digital technology, fine arts, and traditional crafts.
A special place will be given to the stories of how domestic brands are created: from developing the initial idea and organizing production to finding customers, building a strong audience, and scaling the business. This format will demonstrate the real mechanisms of commercializing creative products and introduce aspiring entrepreneurs to the experience of existing companies. During the meeting, Erlan Kanalimov, Chairman of the Creative Industries Development Fund, gave an extensive interview to WEproject, presenting the organization's initial results and outlining priorities for further development of the industry.
Specifically, he discussed the development of a regional entrepreneurial support infrastructure, practical tools for bringing creative products to market, and the results of the Fund's current programs. Special attention was paid to training specialists, attracting private capital, and creating conditions for the sustainable development of creative companies.
A significant portion of the interview was devoted to the international prospects of Kazakhstan's creative economy. Erlan Kanalimov touched on cooperation with foreign organizations, promoting domestic content on global digital platforms, commercializing intellectual property, and expanding the export potential of creative businesses.
The signing of the memorandum with WE Media Group marks the Fund's latest step in developing partnerships with leading media platforms. This collaboration will allow for systematic coverage of the achievements of Kazakhstani creators, introduce audiences to promising entrepreneurial initiatives, and create additional opportunities for establishing professional and business connections.
The parties intend to further develop cooperation through regular publications, thematic media projects, and information support for events aimed at increasing the competitiveness of domestic creative industries.
