Work on the large-scale mural "Taңsәrі" has been completed in Astana. The vibrant artistic composition has appeared on the façade of the "Ken Dala" residential complex at 58 Turan Avenue.
The work's title refers to the Kazakh concept of "taңsәrі"—early dawn, symbolically associated with the beginning of a new era, hope, and renewal. This meaning formed the basis for the mural's visual design.
The composition is built around images of vibrant wildflowers. They seem to sprout across the building's façade, softening the austere urban architecture and adding natural motifs to the space. This makes the mural more than just a decorative element, but a noticeable artistic accent in the urban environment.
The project was implemented at the initiative of the Astana City Administration and the Center for Urban Studies. Teams from the Astana and Karaganda Centers for Urban Studies collaborated with AirG artists to create the mural. The emergence of such works is shaping a new visual image of the capital and demonstrating how contemporary street art can connect urban architecture, national meanings, and the theme of caring for public space.
