In honor of the 100th anniversary of the Mukhtar Auezov Kazakh National Theater, a jubilee performance of the play "Enlik-Kebek" was held in Almaty.

The play "Enlik-Kebek" has become a landmark for Kazakh professional theater, as it was one of the first productions of the Mukhtar Auezov Kazakh National Theater in 1926. The new interpretation of the play revisits the theme of tragic love.

Along with this, viewers were able to view the exhibition "The Beginning of National Theater – The Production of "Enlik-Kebek"," organized by the theater museum. The exhibition featured archival materials, rare photographs, and relics illuminating the history of the first productions, as well as the artistic legacy.
