A literary and musical evening "Altynyn zhyrdyn aktardym," dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Kazakh folk poet Sattigul Zhangabyluly, was held at the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Poets, educators, connoisseurs of folk art, students, and library readers took part in the event.

During the event, the poet's works were performed in modern musical arrangements, and a book exhibition was also presented.

Participants of the evening discussed the life path and creative legacy of Sattigul Zhangabyluly, his contribution to the development of Kazakh poetic tradition, and the preservation of spiritual values. It was noted that the poet's work holds an important place in the country's cultural heritage.
