The Astana Ballet Theatre has solemnly opened the 13th theatre season, presenting to the public one of the largest and most significant productions in its repertoire — the ballet Sultan Beybars. The long-awaited event gathered a full house and became a real celebration of art, marking the beginning of a new creative year.
The historical and dramatic production took the audience to an era of great achievements, where the fate of a commander and ruler is revealed not only through large-scale events, but also through subtle human experiences. The grandeur of the choreography, the power of the music and the sophistication of the scenography created a unique atmosphere in which the image of Beybars — a warrior, statesman and son of his native steppe — came to life.
Outstanding masters of art took part in the creation of the ballet. Every detail of the performance, from the musical score to the plastic solution, was thought out with special care, which allowed the audience to fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere of that distant era.
The opening of the season evoked a lively response from the public. Each scene was met with delight, and the finale was accompanied by applause and flowers. This beginning promises a whole year of bright encounters with the world of dance and unforgettable discoveries.
