
On the eve of International Women's Day, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva, on behalf of the Head of State, presented state awards to women working in various fields. By decree of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, representatives of science, culture, information, archival and museum affairs, as well as public institutions that make a significant contribution to the country's development, were awarded these prestigious awards.
Opening the ceremony, Aida Balayeva emphasized the special significance of the holiday and noted that such awards recognize the extensive work of Kazakhstani women, their professional responsibility, and dedication.
"President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, highly appreciating your significant work for the country, signed the Decree on the awards. This signifies that the state always recognizes women's contribution to strengthening family values and to the development of a wide range of areas. Today's awards are not only your personal achievements. "This is an award from your families, children, parents, colleagues, and teams who share this journey with you," said Aida Balayeva.
The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that women in Kazakhstan have always played a special creative role in society. Thanks to their responsibility, attention to work, and sincere commitment, they achieve high professional results, preserve cultural and spiritual values, strengthen public institutions, and make a significant contribution to the development of the state.
The Order of "Kurmet" was awarded to Bakytzhamal Aitmukhambetova, Head of Department at the Sh.Sh. Ualikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology; Aigul Balabayeva, Head of the Collection Storage and Excursion Department at the T.G. Shevchenko Memorial Museum; and Tatyana Titayeva, Chief Curator of the F.M. Dostoevsky Literary and Memorial Museum in Semey. The "Eren eңbegі үшін" medal was awarded to Bayan Zhumataeva, Director of the Central State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation; Raushan Imantaeva, Chief Economist of the International Center for Interfaith and Interreligious Dialogue; Asylzhan Myrzabolatova, Head of the A.S. Pushkin House-Museum of the West Kazakhstan Regional Museum of History and Local Lore; Zhanna Nugerbek, Chief Specialist and Designer of the Banknote and Coin Design Department of the Cash Circulation Department of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan; and Alma Orazbaeva, Editor-Analyst of the Russian edition of the "7 kүn" program on the Khabar TV channel.
