The capital hosted an evening of "Omіr Zhelі" by Serik Yerkimbekov, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, recipient of the Order of Parasat, and renowned pianist and composer. The concert took place on the stage of the Roza Baglanova Kazakhconcert State Academic Concert Organization.

The evening's program encompassed the composer's key works and reflected the main stages of his creative journey. The stage featured compositions such as "Omіr Zhelі," "Gaukhar," "Zher-Aspan," "Altyn-arka," "Anakha Arnau," and "Darkhan Dala," as well as excerpts from operas. The musical portion was complemented by folk songs and national dances, highlighting the seamless blend of classical music and traditional culture. The event was dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the outstanding statesman, musical figure, and public figure Zheksembek Yerkimbekov.

The concert featured leading soloists and ensembles from the country, including the Kazakh State Symphony Orchestra, the choir of the Kazakh National University of Arts, the Gulder and Birlik ensembles, and the Balduren children's choir from Astana schools.
