The opening of the international exhibition "Dialogue of Cultures: Kazakhstan – Azerbaijan" from the collection of the A. Kasteyev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art.

The exhibition features about 30 paintings by Kazakh artists of different generations. The exhibition introduces viewers to the development of the Kazakh art school and reveals themes of historical memory, cultural continuity, the connection between man and nature, as well as the spiritual closeness of the peoples of the Turkic world.

A special place in the exposition is occupied by works by Abilkhan Kasteyev, Moldakhmet Kenbaev, Kanafia Telzhanov, Nurbek Tansykbaev, Maria Lizogub, Aisha Galimbaeva, Sabur Mambeev, Salakhitdin Aitbaev, Shaimardan Sariev, and other masters of Kazakh painting.

Through landscapes, still lifes, and thematic paintings, artists reveal the image of Kazakhstan, its natural space, traditional way of life, cultural memory, and the inner world of man. Among the presented works are "Highland Medeo Skating Rink" by Abilkhan Kasteyev, as well as works by Aisha Galimbaeva "Aport", "Delicious Tea" and "Shearers", conveying the atmosphere of Kazakh life and the beauty of everyday life.

The exhibition at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art can be visited until August 31.
