An evening dedicated to the memory of the writer and Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Sharbanu Kumarova, marking her 90th anniversary, was held at the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by writers, literary scholars, and representatives of the culture and art sectors.

During the gathering, discussions focused on Sharbanu Kumarova’s life, her creative journey, and her contribution to Kazakh literature. Contemporaries and colleagues who knew her personally spoke at the event and shared their memories of her.

As part of the evening, a special book exhibition was organized from the National Library's collection. The exhibition featured the author's works published over the years, articles in literary publications, and materials dedicated to her creative legacy.
