Representatives of the Almaty region's creative industries are showcasing their national art, crafts, and creative potential at the Qazaq Creative Hub in Astana.
As part of the national project "Creative Aimaq," a creative fair is being held featuring approximately 40 creators from the Almaty region. The exhibition stands feature jewelry, handmade wood and leather goods, traditional textiles, and modern interpretations of national clothing.
A key part of the program is the interactive masterclass "Sheber Qol – Ulttyq Mura." Fairgoers can learn about the traditions of jewelry making, felt and wool processing, ceramics, wood and leather work, the creation of national ornaments and musical instruments, and also participate in hands-on activities. The fair also features special exhibitions dedicated to the creative legacy of prominent Kazakh poets Zhambyl Zhabayev and Mukagali Makatayev. These exhibits introduce visitors to the lives and works of these poets, who made significant contributions to the development of Kazakh literature and culture.
Particular attention is given to the tourism potential of the Almaty region. Visitors are provided with information about the region's natural, historical, and cultural attractions.
Residents and visitors to the capital are invited to discover the richness of national art and the contemporary creative potential of the Almaty region.
