Almaty continues to implement activities as the "Youth Capital of the Turkic World – 2025". All initiatives within the year are aimed at attracting initiatives, dialogue, and cultural interaction among the youth of the Organization of Turkic States countries.

Within the framework of this status, with the support and participation of the OTS, a number of major international events have already taken place in Almaty. Among them are the III Youth Exchange Program, meetings of young leaders and entrepreneurs, the Turki Fest Almaty-2025 cultural festival, the Jaidarman TURKI CUP-2025 international festival, and other significant events. Special attention is paid to the work of the city's youth community centers, where various format events with the participation of youth are held. These include educational and cultural initiatives, discussion platforms, meetings with Turkologists, international dialogue sessions, as well as workshops on the development of digital skills and creative industries.

In total, since the beginning of the year, more than 50 events have been held in community centers, reaching over 3,000 young people.

Within the year of the Youth Capital, special emphasis is placed on supporting youth initiatives, developing the volunteer movement, and involving youth in social and public projects.

The implementation of this status has expanded international contacts, strengthened the exchange of experience, and created additional conditions for the further development of youth cooperation between Turkic countries.

Ahead are a number of key events, including the Digital Turkic Youth forum, the III General Assembly of the OTS Youth Platform, the V International Youth Camping, as well as the creation of a Student Environmental Hub among OTS countries.

The year will conclude with the official closing ceremony of the "Youth Capital of the Turkic World – 2025" status, with the title being handed over to the next city.
