
The State Academic Concert Organization "Kazakh Concert" named after Roza Baglanova held a theatrical program, "Musical in the City," dedicated to the closing of the season of the ASTANA MUSICAL State Theater.
The concert featured the ensembles "GULDER" and "Birlik," as well as students from the college of the Kazakh National University of Arts.
The program consisted of four thematic parts. Participants presented excerpts from the Kazakh musicals "Dostar Serti," "Roza Baglanova," and "Aldar Kose," as well as scenes from works of world musical theater, including "Moana," "Mamma Mia," "Moulin Rouge," "Romeo and Juliet," "Beauty and the Beast," "Notre Dame de Paris," "Aladdin," "Memphis," "Seasons of Love," "Waitress," and "Hamilton." The theatrical program summed up the creative season of the State Theatre "ASTANA MUSICAL" and introduced the audience to works of Russian and international musical theatre.
