The Kazakh State Symphony Orchestra of the Roza Baglanova Kazakh Concert Organization presented a classical music concert, "Symphony of Love."
The audience enjoyed works by Giuseppe Verdi and George Gershwin, as well as excerpts from the ballet "Romeo and Juliet." Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" was one of the program's highlights.
Kanat Omarov, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the T. Abdrashev State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Kazakhstan, conducted the concert.
The soloist was Italian pianist Giuseppe Gullotta, a graduate of the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan and the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome, and a laureate of international competitions, including the Busoni Competition.
