A 9 million tenge result: Almaty region creativity reached a new level in the capital.

An exhibition and fair showcasing the creative potential of the Almaty region was held at the Qazaq Creative Hub as part of the national "Creative Aimaq" project. Over the course of two days, residents and visitors to the capital were able to discover products by regional creators, traditional crafts, and contemporary creative projects.
By the end of the event, Almaty region creators had sold products worth 9 million tenge, and the exhibition was attended by approximately 2,000 people. These results demonstrate the demand for domestic creative products and the growing interest in items that combine national culture with contemporary design.
The exhibition featured jewelry, wood and leather goods, national textiles, Kazakh folklore, national clothing and accessories, syrmaq, bags, wallets, belts, handbags, cardholders, souvenirs, decorative panels, and works of fine art. A special place in the program was given to exhibitions dedicated to the work of prominent Kazakh cultural figures Zhambyl Zhabayev and Mukagali Makatayev. They showcased the region's cultural heritage through the lens of literature, art, and contemporary creative expression.
The "Creative Aimaq" project aims to support regional creators and create new opportunities for them to promote their products. The project's main goal is to introduce a wider audience to the creative potential of the regions, help creators find new buyers and partners, and expand the market for domestic creative products.
The results of the first eight regional events confirm the effectiveness of this format. For creators, participation in fairs not only offers an opportunity to present their products but also provides a platform for establishing new business contacts, promoting their brands, and entering markets beyond their region.
The Almaty region exhibition further confirms this trend. Sales of 9 million tenge and approximately 2,000 visitors are a tangible result demonstrating the economic potential of the regional creative industry. Creative Aimaq continues to create a space where national heritage meets contemporary design, creative ideas are transformed into sought-after products, and regional brands gain the opportunity to reach new audiences.
