The Roza Baglanova State Academic Concert Organization "Kazakh Concert" will present a series of concert evenings as part of the national arts festival "Bizdің zhәrmenңke." The program will combine several significant anniversaries and be dedicated to outstanding representatives of Kazakh traditional art.
One of the main events will be the concert "Bizdің zhәrmenңke – zhyr-dastan," dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the birth of Almas Almatov, a zhyrau (folklore researcher and Honored Figure of Kazakhstan). The evening will reveal the richness of the national spiritual tradition through musical epics and vocal performances. Almas Almatov made a significant contribution to the development and popularization of Kazakh traditional art in the country and abroad. The project will also feature a concert, "Bizdің zhәrmenңke – kүy shezhіre," dedicated to the 80th birthday of the renowned kyuishi, folklorist, and Honored Artist of Kazakhstan, Aitzhan Toktaghan. The evening's program will be dedicated to the art of kyui as an important part of the national cultural heritage.
Another event in the series will be the concert "Bizdің zhәrmenңke – әn ғұмыр," dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding singer and composer, People's Artist of Kazakhstan, Danesh Rakyshev. His name occupies a special place in the history of national vocal art. His creative legacy has become part of the national musical culture's golden age.
