
On February 10 at 7:00 PM, the Roza Baglanova State Academic Concert Organization "Kazakh Concert" will host a musical evening, "Selem saғan, tuғan el," dedicated to the work of the outstanding Kazakh composer, Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and recipient of the Parasat and Kurmet Orders, Kenes Duisekeyev.
The event is timed to coincide with the composer's 80th birthday. The concert program will feature widely known and beloved works by Kenes Duisekeev, including "Selem saғan, tuғan el," "Oylaysyң ba, zhanym," "Dombyra turaly ballada," "Oekіnbe sen," "Ғашықтар жыры," "Қарағым-ай," "Анаға хат," and other works that have become an integral part of Russian musical culture.
The musical evening will feature soloists and creative groups from "Kazakhconcert," as well as renowned cultural and artistic figures. Special guests at the evening will be Yerzhan Isin, Artistic Director of the Astana Pop and Symphony Orchestra and recipient of the Order of Kurmet, as well as Sergey Zhilin, People's Artist of Russia, conductor, jazz pianist, and director of the Phonograph-Symphony-Jazz Orchestra.
Kenes Duisekeyev is a prominent figure in the Kazakh school of composition, whose work is distinguished by a harmonious blend of national musical traditions and contemporary artistic thinking. His works have become part of the golden fund of Kazakh art.
