The 12th Colombo International Theatre Festival concluded in Colombo, where the Gabit Musrepov Kazakh State Academic Theatre for Children and Youth presented the play "Kahar."
The one-man show based on the work of French playwright Jean Anouilh, directed by Dina Zhumabayeva, won the Best Performance award. Aida Zhantleuova, who plays the lead role, received the Best Actress award.
"Kahar" is a psychological one-man show that explores the heroine's inner conflict through acting and direction.
Theatrical companies from Canada, India, Denmark, Poland, Italy, Serbia, Armenia, the United States, and Spain participated in the 12th International Theatre Festival.
