Master classes by renowned ballet dancers Alban Lehndorff and Sebastian Kloborg were held at the Alexander Seleznev Almaty Choreographic School.
Alban Lehndorff is a former principal dancer with the Royal Danish Ballet and American Ballet Theatre, and a winner of the international Benois de la Danse award. Sebastian Kloborg is a Danish choreographer, director, and former soloist with the Royal Danish Ballet.
The program included classes in classical dance and contemporary choreography, a press conference, and creative meetings with students.
Participants were able to learn about the professional approaches of international masters, learn from their practical experience, and discuss current issues in the development of ballet.
The master classes were attended by students and teachers of the school, theater artists, representatives of dance companies, and professors and students from specialized universities. Such initiatives open up new opportunities for international creative collaboration, promote the exchange of knowledge and professional practices, and improve the quality of training for future ballet dancers.
