The importance of this aspect was emphasized by the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in his speech at the third meeting of the National Kurultai in March 2024. "First of all, we must instill in young people a love of reading. Only in this way will we become a reading nation. The most significant steps towards the progress of our nation are books. Therefore, we must consistently establish a high culture of reading in society."

Major publishing houses of Kazakhstan took part in the exhibition. The event included presentations of new books, meetings with authors, autograph sessions, and master classes for children.

Thus, a creative meeting of the exhibition visitors was organized with the Kazakh writer, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Alibek Askarov; famous writer, ethnographer Bolat Bopaiuly with the presentation of the book "Kazakh Treasury".

Among the foreign guests is the popular Russian writer Guzel Yakhina. Guzel will present the translation into Kazakh of the novels "Zuleikha Opens Her Eyes" and "Echelon to Samarkand."

During the days of the exhibition-fair, visitors have the opportunity to meet with the authors of books.
