
The 7th meeting of the Kazakhstan Manuscript Association was held at the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The meeting focused on the preservation, study, and introduction of the national manuscript heritage into scientific circulation.
During the meeting, current issues in manuscript studies were discussed and scholarly papers were presented. Particular attention was paid to the written heritage of the Ulus of Jochi, its substantive and structural features, and the scholarly value of rare manuscripts.
Furthermore, two handwritten scrolls bearing the seal of Khankozhi Ishan were added to the National Library's collection. Both documents date back to the second half of the 19th century.
