Day of Culture and National Traditions: the third day of the Nauryznam decade

On March 16, Kazakhstan celebrates the third day of the national Nauryznama decade. This day is dedicated to culture, art, spiritual heritage, and national customs. Its main idea is to strengthen ties between generations, preserve the nation's cultural memory, and promote traditions as a living part of modern public life.
The program centers on events organized by national cultural organizations. The National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan is hosting the international festival "Dala mәdenietіnің zhagandyқ beynesі," and the Center for the Rapprochement of Cultures is organizing a thematic event "Mәdeniet pen dәstүr – ұлт болмысының негізі." In Astana, the E. Rakhmadiev State Academic Philharmonic is hosting a festive event called "The Day of the Nation – the Nation's Heritage." These projects explore the history, traditions, and values that shape the cultural code of the people.
Festive events on this day also span the country's regions. In the Aktobe region, the cultural project "Zhyraular Zholymen" and the festival "Dastur-fest" are dedicated to national art and traditions. In the Akmola region, viewers are treated to the national educational program "Koktem-keruenі," and in the Karaganda region, the day combines the historical and ethnographic evening "Nauryz toyy – mereke, salt-dәstүrіm – bereke," a digital competition, and the festival "Nauryz: Inspired by Traditions." Theatrical performances dedicated to folk customs and rituals are taking place in the Mangystau region.

Thus, "Mәdeniet zhәne ұлттық салт-дәстүр күні" continues Nauryznama as a day in which tradition and modernity unite through art, education, and respect for the people's spiritual heritage.
