A creative evening of the outstanding Kazakh composer Kuat Shildebayev, titled "Otan Ana" (Motherland), was held at the Roza Baglanova Kazakhconcert State Academic Concert Organization.
The creative evening "Otan Ana" was Kuat Shildebayev's first major author's concert. The composer's works were performed accompanied by the Saz&Soul group and the "Astana" Pop-Symphony Orchestra, which allowed them to be presented with a new stage sound.
The program included songs such as "Kairan konil", "Sagym dunie", "Otan Ana", "Zhan Ana", "Keshir meni", "Amanat", "Ayalagan arman-ai", "Saule", as well as musical themes from famous films. Renowned Kazakh performers and musicians participated in the concert.
Kuat Shildebayev is one of the brightest representatives of national musical art. His work has gained recognition not only in Kazakhstan but also abroad. In 2025, the composer's kyui "Karakemer" for solo violin and string ensemble was published by the American publishing house Global Music Partnership Press. Thus, he became the first representative of Kazakhstan whose work was published by this publishing house.
In addition, the kyui "Karakemer" was included in the collection of the New York Public Library. The premiere of the work took place at Harvard University and the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, which became an important confirmation of the international recognition of the Kazakh composer.
