Two nominations submitted by Kazakhstan have been inscribed on the UNESCO Memory of the World Asia-Pacific Register. The decision was made at a meeting of the MOWCAP Regional Commission for Asia and the Pacific, held on November 5, 2026, in Jakarta.
The register includes "Issyk Inscription: Turkic Runic Inscription on a Silver Bowl from the Issyk Mound" and "The Mashkhur Zhusup Kopeyev Printed Collection."
The inclusion of both nominations in the register confirms the international recognition of the value of Kazakhstan's documentary, historical, and cultural heritage and contributes to its promotion abroad.
