The Astana Ballet Theatre concluded its theatrical season with a tour program in Atyrau, Zhanaozen, and Aktau. The company presented national choreography, works by Kazakh and European composers, and world opera classics.
The tour began in Atyrau, where two performances of the "Heritage of the Great Steppe" program took place on the stage of the Makhambet Utemisov Regional Academic Drama Theatre. The national divertissement, staged by Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Aigul Tati, combines elements of Kazakh folk dance, ethnographic motifs, and contemporary choreography.
In Zhanaozen, the theatre's symphony orchestra and opera soloists performed for the city's residents. The audience included representatives of socially vulnerable groups and people with special needs.
The tour concluded in Aktau at the Abai Cultural and Leisure Complex. Under the baton of Principal Conductor Arman Urazgaliev, the symphony orchestra performed works by Russian and international composers.
International competition laureates Adil Sultan, Firuza Rakhmetova, and Talgat Allabirinov joined the concerts. They performed opera arias and vocal works from world classical music.
