A bright event, organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, became a real creative experiment, uniting modern choreographic works by the talented choreographer Sultanbek Gumar and the unique instrumental music of the ethno-folk ensemble HasSak.
The program included the numbers "Toy Bastar" and "Aralym" ("Between Heaven and Earth") to the works of the HasSak ensemble, as well as "Alem" ("Fundamentals of the Universe") to the music of composer Khamit Shangaliev.
Viewers had the opportunity to enjoy not only unique productions, but also the performance of multi-instrumentalists of the HasSak ensemble. The musicians performed works both solo and accompanied by the Astana Opera Symphony Orchestra under the direction of maestro Ruslan Baymurzin. Such numbers as "HasSaknama", "Uly Zhibek Zholy", "Zauren", "Ansau", "Orleu", "Turan Zholbarysy" and "Tartu" were played.
It is important to note that the implementation of such an ambitious program became possible thanks to the artistic director of the ballet troupe Altynai Asylmuratova, who actively supports and develops young choreographers within the walls of the Astana Opera.
Choreographic numbers "Aralym", "Alem" and "Toy Bastar" aroused sincere delight among the public, gaining recognition for their artistic expression and originality.
The evening opened with the number "Toy Bastar", which immersed the audience in the atmosphere of Kazakh hospitality and festive fun. The bright production brought together 20 pairs of young dancers, whose complex and spectacular movements were emphasized by modern visual solutions. Traditional motifs were harmoniously combined with the costumes of designer Darigi Taishikova, giving the number a special flavor.
In the number "Aralym", the choreographer metaphorically linked male images with the earth, and female images with water, emphasizing the importance of respect for the environment and human relations. Inspired by the legendary personalities – Tomiris and Domalak Ana, Sultanbek Gumar revealed in the production "Alem" the wisdom, courage and tenderness of Kazakh women. The graceful movements of the artists conveyed this versatility, making the dance symbolic.
The program also featured other productions by Sultanbek Gumar, which were loved by the audience: the dramatic "Mangurt" to the music of A. Raimkulova, arranged by the TURAN ensemble, and the majestic "RUH", created to the composition "Amanat" by the HasSak ensemble.
