The exhibition "The Universe Around Us" opens a window into the multi-layered world of Raisa Bashiri - an artist whose canvases explore the philosophy of the universe and the mysteries of space through the prism of the abstract direction in art.
The exhibition traces the development of Raisa Bashiri's creative approach, who began his career as a painter working in the style of realism. Already in the works of the early period, he, with the help of color and vibration of strokes, seeks to capture the depth of the surrounding world. The presented works convey the artist's desire to find a way to immerse the viewer in an ambivalent state, where each experienced emotion, the perception of symbols becomes the key to understanding the hidden reality.
Rais Bashiri was born in the spring of 1951 in the Orenburg region. For some time he lived and worked in Belarus, where he met the artist Bider Wolf, who became his teacher and played a huge role in shaping the artistic path of the author. In the 1990s he moved to Almaty, where he continued his creative path as a freelance artist.
In his current creative period, Rais Bashiri is a master fascinated by the power of abstract art, which has absorbed his attention with its immediacy and self-sufficiency. Drawing inspiration from the poetic symbolism of Joan Miro, the outstanding experiments of Paul Klee, the artist in each new movement of the brush echoes the rhythm of the universe, capturing its dynamics in color and form. The emotional depth of symbols and abstract images, the choice of work formats allow not only to show, but also to immerse yourself in the world of the artist, going into your own reflections on the universe and its mysteries His picturesque works, whether the series "Cosmos", "Mosaics" or "Seasons" and "Nature", combine nature, the world of human mind and the endless spaces of stars into a single symphony of color and movement. The artist uses rhythmic strokes and a rich palette so that the viewer feels the powerful force of each particle of light. Looking at these monumental canvases, the viewer re-encounters familiar images of his dreams, symbols of time, riddles of the universe through the prism of philosophy and the author's inner experience.
The exhibition "The Universe Around Us" not only invites you on a journey into the world of Raisa Bashiri, but also becomes an opportunity for the viewer to take a fresh look at reality, find harmony in what seems chaotic, and feel a connection with the universe that surrounds and permeates all living and frozen in time. Each painting in this exhibition is like an open book of the universe, where the visible forms of galactic bodies are intertwined with mystical energy, slightly opening the veil over the infinity of the universe.
