The concert "From Vienna to Buenos Aires" will take place in Almaty.

On August 27 at 6:00 PM, the Yerkegali Rakhmadiev Grand Concert Hall of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory will host a classical music concert, "From Vienna to Buenos Aires."
International competition laureate and violinist Yerasyl Khamit (Vienna, Austria) will perform alongside the Almaty Festival Orchestra under the baton of conductor Ilyas Duisen.
The evening's program includes outstanding works from world classical music: Ludwig van Beethoven's Violin Concerto and Astor Piazzolla's "The Four Seasons in Buenos Aires."
Yerasyl Khamit is a laureate of prestigious international competitions, including first prize at the CullerArts International Violin Competition (Spain, 2025). In January 2025, the musician performed a solo program for Pope Francis at the Palazzo della Cancelleria in Rome. The violinist has performed at leading concert venues around the world, including the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein, the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Salzburg Festspielhaus, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, the Great Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, and the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow. He is currently pursuing advanced studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw). Since September 2026, he has been a member of the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra (RSO Wien).
The upcoming concert will present the public with high-quality examples of world classical music performed by a new generation of Kazakh musicians. Admission is free.
