An international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the outstanding public and statesman Alikhan Bokeikhan was held at the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event brought together historians, young researchers, library specialists, and scholars from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.
During the conference, participants discussed the socio-political significance of Alikhan Bokeikhan's legacy and his contribution to the development of national science.
Archival materials discovered in libraries, museum collections, and foreign archives in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, and Switzerland were also presented.
