"In this premiere program, we focus on national numbers, strive to emphasize the beauty of Kazakh culture and the richness of its history. We have prepared new numbers and it is important to say here that there is now a great need to support and develop young talented choreographers. Among them is the promising Sultanbek Gumar, whose work is promising, some of his works have already caused a resonance among the public and received good criticism from ballet experts. In the future, we plan to present another premiere project together with the Kazakh ethno-folk group "Khassak." These modern and creative guys carefully preserve musical national traditions, which fully corresponds to our concept. I am sure that these projects will find a lively response in the hearts of residents and guests of the capital," - said the artistic director of the ballet troupe "Astana Opera" Altynai Asylmuratova.
In order to reveal the content of Nomad Ballet, the star of world ballet, People's Artist of Russia Altynai Asylmuratova has compiled a new program with special care and sophistication. Thus, the numbers of domestic and foreign choreographers harmoniously replace each other, making you feel the historical roots more deeply. The audience will get acquainted with them performed by ballet dancers of the capital theater. Thus, Anvara Sadykova's author's production - "Sarmatian Priestess" to the music of the alternative folk group Steppe Sons will be presented by Amina Kisembayeva and ballet dancers. And the adagio from the ballet "Call of the Steppe" staged by Patrick de Bana will be performed by Shugyla Adepkhan and Dias Kurmangazy, Olzhas Tarlanov and Asel Shaikenova. Another impressive number by this talented choreographer - "Kyly Zaman" to the music of the ethno-folklore ensemble "Turan" - will be presented by Sultanbek Gumar.
Viewers will also be able to appreciate Sultanbek's talent as a choreographer, because his author's numbers "Mangurt", based on the theme of Mankurtism from the works of Ch. Aitmatov, and "Rukh", reflecting the power of ancestors, will decorate the Nomad Ballet program. These unique choreographic miniatures on the stage will be embodied by Limara Aidarova, Ruslan Kanagat and Islam Kaipbai.
A special feature of the evening will be the premiere of the choreographic miniature "Dem" ("Breath"), created by Almat Shamshiev, a doctoral student of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography. This talented choreographer is known to the general public of "Astana Opera" for the productions "Asan and Usen" and "Fair", created in collaboration with Anvara Sadykova. A. Shamshiev noted that the idea of the choreographic composition "Dem" was born three years ago specifically for the artists of "Astana Opera", and stressed that the technique of performing the number is extremely complex. Bekzat Orynbayev, Raiymbek Bolat and Doskhan Zaidin will introduce the audience to the new production.
"Life begins with a breath. Every living being that comes into this world goes its own way with the desire to live, but sooner or later this breath is cut short. What will be the path of each of us? Whether a person wants to warm with his warmth, do good or fill life with evil - it was this philosophical view that determined the name of the creative production "Dem" ("Breath"). We know from history what changes the Kazakh people have gone through to this day. The goal was to convey that it is not necessary to follow disagreements and disputes, but to achieve peace and unity. People's Artist of Kazakhstan, the founder of Kazakh stage dance Dauren Abirov left us a great heritage, including the vocabulary, the original plasticity of Kazakh male dance. Among the elements of his school there is a movement called "Aidaharsha iyirilu" ("Dragon winding"). When creating a new production, we took this movement as the basis of the choreographic text. Using the technique of performing "Aidaharsha iyirilu", we complicated it, adding various elements. At first, three characters - Water, Earth and Fire - demonstrate their power, a confrontation begins between them, but in the end the three heroes unite for a common goal," - said Almat Shamshiev.
Also this evening will be presented the masterpiece of the twentieth century - the ballet "Scheherazade" to the music of N. Rimsky-Korsakov staged by the famous choreographer M. Fokin. The main parts of the Golden Slave and Zobeida will be performed by the leading soloists of the ballet troupe, Honored Workers of Kazakhstan Bakhtiyar Adamzhan and Anel Rustemova. The symphony orchestra of the theater will perform under the direction of conductor Arman Urazgaliev.
