"It's safe to dream": Musical and poetic evening dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory was held in Almaty

On May 6-7, Almaty hosted a musical and poetic concert of the State Academic Korean Theater dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, "Dreaming Peacefully."

For the residents and guests of the city, the theater staff has prepared a frank, gentle and bright concert about human endurance, about the memory that does not fade, and about the love that the war could not erase. The program of the event included such compositions as "Oh, the roads", "Dark Night", "Cranes", "At an unnamed height", "Blue handkerchief", "Katusha", "From the heroes of olden times". The artists also read poems about the Motherland, mother, and world by Mukagali Makatayev and Sultanmakhmut Toraigyrov.

The stage came alive with the voices of wartime songs and lines of Kazakh poetry created in difficult times. The music and the word merged into a single stream of memory, sprouting through the generations to quietly but poignantly remind: "A world in which you can dream peacefully is paid for by endless love and sacrifice."
