The Kurmangazy Orchestra presented the concert project Cinema Hits.

The Almaty Theatre hosted the "Cinema Hits" concert project by the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments. The orchestra performed well-known pieces from Kazakh and international films.
The program included compositions from the Kazakh films "Koshpendiler," "Mustafa Shokai," and "Crossroads." Soundtracks to foreign films such as "Gladiator," "Iron Man," "The Avengers," "Formula 1," "Hachiko," and the TV series "Octopus" were also performed.
Part of the program was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of director Abdolla Karsakbayev and the 75th birthday of actress Meruert Utekeshova. It included works from the golden collection of Kazakh cinema, "Kyz Zhibek" and "My Life with You." The concert featured Karina Abdullina, Ushkyn Zhamalbek, the group "Ovoshchi i Frukty," the student choir of the Almaty P. I. Tchaikovsky College of Music, actors from the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts, and the choreographic ensemble "Sarmat."
The "Cinema Hits" project presents concert programs in new formats, adapting music from various genres to national instruments and presenting it to new audiences.
