
The State Ensemble «Gülder», part of the State Academic Concert Organization «Qazaqconcert» named after Roza Baglanova, won the Grand Prix at the international «Ethno-Dance» competition, held in Kyrgyzstan as part of Nomad Fest VI of the World Nomad Games.
Professional dance ensembles from Türkiye, Bulgaria, the Republic of Tuva, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), India, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries competed for the title.
«Gülder» presented two choreographic works in the competition: «Er Turan», set to music by the TURAN ensemble, and «Korkyt», set to music by the STEPPE SONSE group. The jury evaluated not only the performers’ artistic skills but also the professional work of the choreographers. At the end of the competition, the Grand Prix was awarded to Anvara Sadykova and the «Gülder» ensemble in recognition of their joint creative achievement.
The competition program featured choreographic works by Anvara Sadykova, Almat Shamshiyev, Ernur Karykbol, and Dana Musa. In addition, throughout the festival, the ensemble presented an expanded choreography program, while at the gala concert it performed the ethno-ballet «Echoes of Time» (Замана жаңғырығы), set to music by Maurice Ravel.
