The State of Qatar hosted the grand opening of the Days of Kazakhstan Culture.

The grand opening of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place in Doha. This large-scale event was made possible thanks to agreements reached by the heads of state during the state visit of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the State of Qatar.
The Kazakh delegation was led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva. As part of the Days of Culture, the Deputy Prime Minister held a bilateral meeting with Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani, Minister of Culture of the State of Qatar.

During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in culture and the arts.
"Holding the Days of Culture of Kazakhstan in Qatar is a great honor for us. Our peoples are united by shared spiritual values. Both Kazakhstan and Qatar carefully preserve the heritage of a rich nomadic civilization and deeply cherish their traditions. "I am confident that these values will continue to bring our countries closer together and pave the way for new joint projects," Aida Balayeva emphasized.
Welcoming the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani noted the high potential for the development of Kazakh-Qatari relations, expressing confidence that cultural interaction will serve as a solid foundation for further expansion of cooperation between the countries.

Particular attention during the meeting was given to cooperation in the creative sector. Aida Balayeva emphasized the dynamic development of creative industries in the State of Qatar and noted that Kazakhstan also prioritizes this area. A Creative Industries Development Fund has been established in the Republic. In this regard, the Kazakh side expressed its readiness to implement joint projects and expand practical cooperation in this area.
At the same time, other promising areas of cooperation were identified, including the publication of joint books, the translation of works by authors from both countries into Kazakh and Arabic, and the exchange of experience in supporting artists.
As a practical step, the signing of an Interdepartmental Action Plan covering all the identified areas was proposed.
Following the meeting, the heads of delegations attended a festive gala concert featuring Kazakh artists. The program included works from the classical musical heritage of the Kazakh people, folk kuis and songs, contemporary compositions in symphonic arrangements, and Arabic songs.
The heads of delegations also visited the Darb Al-Saghi Cultural and Historical Center, where the main events of the Culture Days are taking place, featuring thematic concerts, exhibitions of decorative and applied arts, and designers presenting national motifs with a modern twist. A special place in the program is occupied by the exhibition of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Special attention is given to the popularization of traditions and national sports, in particular the traditional art of archery, falconry, and tazy hunting. It should be noted that the four-day Kazakhstan Culture Days program aims to further strengthen Kazakh-Qatari cultural and humanitarian cooperation and promote Kazakhstan's national culture internationally. A reciprocal event, the State of Qatar Culture Days, will also soon be held in Kazakhstan.
