The application period for the national drawing competition Qyzyl Book Art "Dala Kazynasy" has been successfully completed. A total of 1,187 applications were received from all regions of Kazakhstan. This level of participation demonstrates children's strong interest in creativity, environmental issues, and the preservation of national values.
The most active participants came from Astana (20.6%), Akmola Region (15.9%), Aktobe Region (12.8%), and Almaty (11.9%).
The largest category of participants were students in grades 5-8, accounting for 45.2% of the total number of applications. Students in grades 1-4 accounted for 28.6%, and students in grades 9-11 accounted for 26.2%.
The competition theme was dedicated to the conservation of biodiversity in Kazakhstan. Thus, 81.6% of the submitted works were dedicated to animals listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and 18.4% to rare and endangered plant species.
