An exhibition dedicated to the 130th anniversary of Seraly Kozhamkulov was held in Almaty

The Central State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Recordings held an event commemorating the 130th anniversary of the birth of actor and one of the founders of Kazakh theater, Seraly Kozhamkulov.
The event was attended by intellectuals, archival and theater staff, the actor's relatives, as well as his followers and colleagues.
An exhibition featuring archival photographs of the actor was organized for guests.
A documentary film, "Seraga," produced by Kazakhfilm Studios in 1972, was also shown. The film features the actor's memoirs, recorded in his own voice, footage of the opening of the first Kazakh theater in Kyzylorda in 1929, his first role in the play "Yenlik-Kebek," and his reflections. It should be noted that the Central State Archive of Film, Photographic Documents and Sound Recordings contains approximately 100 film, photo and audio documents related to the life and work of Serala Kozhamkulov.
