The 4th International Theatre Festival "TEATR ALL," dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Meruert Utekesheva, People's Artist of Kazakhstan and recipient of the Parasat and Kurmet Orders, concluded in Astana.
The festival brought together theater companies from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan. Leading theaters from Astana, as well as companies from the Mangystau, Akmola, Turkestan, Atyrau, Ulytau, and other regions, participated in the program.
The jury named "Ulpan" by the G. Musrepov Kazakh State Academic Theater for Children and Youth as the best production. The award for best acting ensemble went to "Zhamilya" by the B. Kydykeeva Kyrgyz State Theater for Young Spectators. Dina Zhumabaeva's work on the play "Toy" at the N. Zhanturin Mangystau Regional Musical and Drama Theater was recognized as Best Director. The acting awards went to Ayan Utepbergen for her role as Shakarim in "Shakarim" and Polina Kharlamova for her role as Annie in "The Miracle Worker, or What is Love?"
Special prizes were also awarded in the names of Asanali Ashimov, Khadisha Bukeeva, Kuman Tastanbekov, and Meruert Utekesheva. These prizes recognized the performances of Nurzhan Beisbekov, Guldana Kosherbaeva, Ziya Aga, and Akmaral Tanabaeva.
The "THEATRE ALL" festival once again became a platform for professional exchange, creative exploration, and international cultural dialogue. Its results showed that Kazakhstan's contemporary theatre scene is actively developing and remains open to collaboration with theatres in neighboring countries.
