“38. The Final Point” to Hit Cinemas Nationwide

Starting September 3, audiences across Kazakhstan will be able to see the feature film “38. The Final Point” on the big screen — a story about people who find themselves face-to-face with the forces of nature and, at a critical moment, must choose between their own safety and their professional duty.

The story follows forest rangers whose routine work turns into a struggle to save human lives. Through their experiences, the filmmakers explore courage and responsibility, friendship and family, the price of difficult decisions, and the importance of protecting nature. At the same time, the film serves as a tribute to those who lost their lives while carrying out their duty.

Ahead of its nationwide release, the film was presented to audiences in Astana and Almaty. The premiere screenings brought together representatives of the film industry, cultural and artistic figures, actors, members of the cast and crew, and media representatives.

“38. The Final Point” was directed by Torebek Beisebayev and produced by Nurzhigit Khaidar. The cast includes Asan Mazhit, Arman Uakhitov, Altynshash Shayakhmet, Almat Sakatov, Tolepbergen Baisakalov, Asylbek Aitish, and Maksat Sabitov.

The film was produced on commission from the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the support of the State Center for Support of National Cinema.
