The film reveals the amazing story of 35-year-old Adil, a special person whose mental development remained at the level of an 8-year-old child. Adil lives in a small village with his 75-year-old mother, Raihan apa. Mom always told Adil that his God loves him "in a special way, and therefore he will go straight to Paradise." However, Adil does not want to go to Paradise without his mother.

One day he learns from an 8-year-old boy that if he "takes" his mother on foot to the holy city of Mecca, she can get to Paradise. And this begins - the Journey. This is a film about the power of a mother's love for her son, about the fact that only the kindness and open hearts of different people of different faiths and nationalities will help humanity overcome all difficulties. The film allows viewers to immerse themselves in the amazing landscapes and cultural features of various regions through which Adil and his mother's journey passes.

Note that most of the filming of the Kyrgyz film "Paradise at the feet of the mother" took place in Kazakhstan.

It is symbolic that we are showing it in the month of Ramadan. I would like to note that this film was released in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan at the same time. In four days, it broke the box office record - it raised more than a million dollars, pushing all Hollywood blockbusters out of local distribution. As part of the Days of Kyrgyz Cinema, the film "Tenirberdi" ("Child of Heaven") was also presented for screening. The film reveals the theme of ethical values ​​in a light, comedic genre. As part of strengthening cultural relations between the two countries, other events will also take place. “This is the opening of the Forum of Elders and Creative Intelligentsia, the Forum of Scientists, the opening of a monument to the main hero of the Kyrgyz epic “Manas”, as well as a concert with the participation of the best performers of the two countries,” said Kumis Seitova, Chairman of the Culture Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, at a meeting with media representatives.
