Over 900 works have reached the finals of the national children's drawing competition "Qyzyl Book Art: Dala Kazynasy," organized by the Creative Industries Development Fund and dedicated to animals and plants listed in the Red Book of Kazakhstan.
The finalists' works were evaluated by a panel of seven experts in the fields of art, design, museum studies, and wildlife conservation. Each work was scored on a 100-point scale: 70 points were awarded for artistic execution and 30 points for the author's essay.
Open online voting has begun in the special "People's Choice" category. Anyone can support their favorite work and cast their vote.
How to vote
Voting takes place in the QazaqCreative section of the QazaqCulture portal. To participate, please:
Go to the QazaqCreative section on the QazaqCulture portal;
Select the "QYZYL BOOK ART: Dala Kazynasy" competition;
Go to the "People's Choice" category and vote for your favorite work.
Only one vote per profile is counted.
The prize fund for the "People's Choice" category is 500,000 tenge. The winner will be determined by open online voting.
The competition aims to support children's creativity, promote knowledge about animals and plants listed in the Red Book of Kazakhstan, and foster a culture of respect for nature.
