
A scientific and educational seminar, "Yasawi Kerueni," dedicated to the study and popularization of the spiritual and philosophical legacy of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi was held in Turkestan.
This initiative is being implemented in pursuance of the instructions of Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to widely promote the personality and legacy of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi in the regions of the country and abroad.
The seminar was attended by government officials, academics, theologians, religious scholars, cultural figures, youth, and media representatives.
The main topics of discussion were the historical and spiritual significance of Yasawi's teachings, the moral ideas of his work "Diwani Hikmet," and the role of the thinker's legacy in strengthening national identity and shaping spiritual values. Dosai Kenjetai, Professor at the Khoja Ahmed Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University; Serzhan Orazbay, Associate Professor at the university; Baurzhan Saifunov, Director of the Yasawi Research Institute; and Mukhit Tolegen, Doctor of Philosophy, presented research papers.
The researchers examined the influence of Yasawi's teachings on national identity, the educational significance of hikmets, and the historical and spiritual continuity between the thinker's legacy and the traditions of the Kazakh people.
