Museums of Kazakhstan will hold the "Night of Museums" event across the country

Kazakhstan will host the republican cultural and educational event "Night of Museums," dedicated to the International Museum Day. From May 16 to 18, museum venues across the country will present evening and night programs that combine historical heritage, art, modern technologies, ethnocultural formats, and interactive engagement with visitors.

Three national venues will hold a special place in the republican program. On May 16, the A. Kasteyev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan will kick off the event. The main highlight here will be the "Zheti Kazyna" exhibition, and the exhibition halls will be complemented by an Open Air format in the museum courtyard.

On May 18, the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will feature a performance by violinist Nazym Mustafina with the participation of a humanoid robot and a bionic robot dog. The project will combine art and modern technologies, offering visitors a new interpretation of historical and cultural heritage.

On the same day, the National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will focus on preserving museum collections and replenishing them. As part of the "Gift to the Museum" initiative, the collections will be enriched with valuable items related to the history of culture, art, sports, and public life.

Museum-reserves will also join the event, with night routes to monuments, theatrical performances, historical quests, light and sound solutions, multimedia projects, and elements of artificial intelligence. Special attention will be paid to the ethnocultural direction: craft practices, national games, traditional cuisine, ethno-auls, campfire stories, and night tea parties in yurts. Open-air formats are also planned, including tent camps and stargazing as part of promoting astrotourism.

Admission for all visitors will be free during the event days.
