“A Musical Journey ‘From West to East’: The Symphony Orchestra Presented an Evening of World Classics”

The Kazakh State Symphony Orchestra of the Roza Baglanova State Academic Concert Organization "Kazakhconcert" presented a concert of classical music "From West to East" for listeners. The program combined iconic works of world symphonic literature and became a highlight in the cultural life of the capital.

The concert featured the overture "Coriolan" and Symphony No. 5 by Ludwig van Beethoven. One of Dmitry Shostakovich's key works, Concerto No. 1 for Violin and Orchestra, was also performed.

Maestro Hakan Şensoy (Turkey), a musician with a worldwide reputation who in various years conducted on the stages of Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Musikverein and the Teatro alla Scala, where he became the first Turkish conductor in the history of the venue, performed at the conductor's stand. The soloist of the concert was Kazakh violinist Diana Makazhan, a laureate of international competitions and a bright representative of the young generation of performers.
