A creative fair featuring the Atyrau Region was held in Astana as part of the Creative Aimaq national project. The two-day event was organized at the Qazaq Creative Hub with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Visitors were presented with decorative and applied arts, handmade jewelry, items made of wood, leather, bone and metal, ceramics, clothing collections by regional designers, and works by local artists.

The fair also featured master classes, theatre performances, and a creative programme by the independent JAIYQ.CORP art space.

Over the course of two days, 10,000 people visited the fair, while creators from the Atyrau Region sold products worth a total of 15 million tenge.

The Creative Aimaq project aims to support representatives of Kazakhstan’s creative industries, promote local brands more widely, and create new opportunities for the sale of creative products.

As part of the project, the next creative fair in Astana will feature the West Kazakhstan Region.
